The Alcoa Foundation was formed to make a difference around the world. Alcoa Foundation employees lead by encouraging others to make a difference in the community to help drive meaningful change in education and protecting the environment.
I was asked to create a clear communication between the public and global employees of Alcoa that personifies the roles of the Alcoa Foundation through five unique icons taking inspiration from their existing Alcoa Volunteer branding to help develop an awareness of everything that the Foundation stands for as well as the services they provide. Simplicity being the key — provide impact with one main element per icon.
The client was extremely happy and I have been designing their annual global events since 2009 creating internal posters, and certificates that could be customized in-house (for international locations) as well as creating online banner promotions and ads for the Alcoa website.
