South Food + Wine Bar South opened in October 2007 and is the first uniquely Australian restaurant in San Francisco. Owned and operated by 2 Aussies and a Kiwi – Australian celebrity chef, Luke Mangan, owner of Glass Brasserie in Sydney and Salt in Tokyo, and Liz O’Connell and Anna Weinberg.

South came to Tomsuey to help them design the initial investors pitch for the restaurant – creating invitations, an investors pack and a video presentation. Following the successful investment dinner pitch, Tomsuey was asked to design the website and promotional materials and collateral (menus, to-go packaging, postcards, signage, e-vites, business cards etc.) as well as consult on integrating the overall branding into the interiors of the restaurant.
